We vote up the Julian May. Love that whole series. Pity there’s only one China Mieville in that list (the one I haven’t read yet, at that) -but lately I am obsessed with Iron Council.

And it’s worth noting that the entire list is reproduced from daghnao’s entry I certainly didn’t sit down and think this stuff up.

Sin: A few hundred pages into book 3 of the trilogy now and no, you haven’t mentioned it, but I’ll hunt around for the series… I might go straight into the Tawny Man trilogy next though.

I liked the Farseer Trilogy a lot. I’ve probably already asked you this, but have you read the Galactic Milieu/Saga of Pliocene Exile circular series by Julian May? Because it’s fantastic.

1. sort list alphabetically by author
2. sort list alphabetically by book titile
3. sort list by preference (star or no star) and within each category by (1) and (2)
